The Internal Audit

The annual internal audit is by far the most important aspect of maintaining your BSI Kitemark. Once you have a factory production control system embedded in your business, Dascon helps you through your annual internal audit.

The Dascon quality manual is made up of method statements covering all the BS8500 and EN206 requirements for Kitemark. These procedures and the internal auditing system are cross referenced. This means that when carrying out an internal audit you consult the relevant individual section of the quality manual and comment and raise non conformance reports based on adherence to the method statement highlighted

This enables production of a corrective action plan (CAP) with appointed actions and timescales.

Close out of corrective actions then proves that non compliance has been dealt with prior to external audit from BSI

BSI will scrutinise the internal audit on the day of your stage two or annual surveillance audit to insure that your quality system is fully functioning
