Attaining Kitemark
Dascon assists concrete suppliers through their BSI Kitemark accreditation process. We can guide you through the accreditation process from start to finish with minimum disruption to your day to day business activities. Dascon is a registered BSI Associate Consultant
There are several stages to attaining kitemark as follows
- Establishing a technical basic relationship for your materials package
- Implementing a BS8500 compliant quality manual which also meets the requirements of ISO 9001 2015
- Embedding all the quality procedures highlighted in the above manual within your business
- Plant trialing the basic relationship to ensure compliance with the standard
- Completion of an Internal Audit of your system
- Establishing a compressive testing regime
- Establishing a recognised method of statistical analysis for your testing regime(Cusum)
- Undergoing an external BSI Stage One Audit where required
- Ensuring that your quality system also meets the basic requirements of ISO 9001
- Closing out any non conformance reports raised during your Stage One Audit
- Successfully undergoing an external BSI Stage Two Audit to obtain certification
